Ολοκληρώθηκε Δευτέρα 31/10/2022 με επιτυχία το μεγαλύτερο εμπορικό deal στον τομέα της αποθήκευσης ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας με συστήματα μπαταριών στην χώρα. Στο μετοχικό κεφάλαιο της εταιρείας ΕΚ Συστήματα Αποθήκευσης Ενέργειας, εταιρεία του Ομίλου Βοώτης ΑΕ (Wootis SA), που κατέχει οχτώ Άδειες Αποθήκευσης συνολικής ισχύος 600 MW, εισήλθε η Ισπανική εταιρεία Fotowatio Renewable Ventures FRV με ποσοστό 51%. Η FRV μεταξύ άλλων φέρνει μαζί της την πολυετή εμπειρία σε πέντε ηπείρους στο τομέα των ΑΠΕ αλλά και την εμπειρία της στην κατασκευή, διαχείριση και λειτουργία μονάδων αποθήκευσης ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και την Αυστραλία. Για τα περισσότερα από τα έργα που αποτελούν πλέον το κοινό portfolio έχουν εκδοθεί οι σχετικές περιβαλλοντικές άδειες και έχουν υποβληθεί, με το νέο καθεστώς προτεραιότητας, αιτήματα για χορήγηση οριστικής προσφοράς όρων σύνδεσης με το Σύστημα.
Επιπρόσθετα, στόχος της συνεργασίας των δύο εταιρειών αποτελεί η ανάπτυξη νέων έργων αποθήκευσης ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας με συνολική ισχύ 300 MW.
Το deal επιτεύχθηκε με την συμβολή των δικηγορικών γραφείων Lamnidis Law και Λαμπαδάριος και Συνεργάτες Εταιρεία Δικηγόρων.
Η Βοώτης ΑΕ είναι μια από τις πρωτοπόρες εταιρείες του κλάδου των ΑΠΕ στον τομέα του Asset Management, αφού προσφέρει ολοκληρωμένες υπηρεσίες σε λειτουργούντες σταθμούς ΑΠΕ Ελληνικών και Διεθνών ενεργειακών Funds. Μέσω του πιο εξελιγμένου και ενός εκ των μεγαλύτερων monitoring centers στην Ευρώπη που λειτουργεί από το 2015, των υπηρεσιών τεχνικής και εμπορικής διαχείρισης, ΦΟΣΕ καθώς και των υπηρεσιών συντήρησης και λειτουργίας (O&M) σε Αιολικούς και Φωτοβολταϊκούς Σταθμούς, παρέχει καθετοποιημένες υπηρεσίες σε έργα ΑΠΕ.
Όπως δήλωσε ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της Βοώτης ΑΕ κ. Θανάσης Καραδήμας, «για την ασφαλή μετάβαση στην πολυπόθητη πράσινη παλιγγενεσία, αλλά και για να αντιστραφούν οι συνέπειες της κλιματικής κρίσης, η αποθήκευση ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας θα πρέπει να καταλάβει ολοένα και μεγαλύτερη στρατηγική σημασία».
